Who we are

Travel Brag is an Android app developed by Impulse Media. This policy explains how the app handles privacy and data.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data through Travel Brag.

• No account or sign-up is required.
• No name, email address, phone number, or profile is collected.
• No analytics, advertising tracking, or behavioural tracking is used.
• No journey details, photos, captions, videos, or usage activity are sent to Impulse Media.
• No subscription, payment, or billing information is collected by the app.

Data stored on your device

Travel Brag stores the information you enter locally on your device so the app can build and replay your travel story. This may include:

• Journey title and optional introduction details.
• Departure and destination names.
• Transport mode choices for route legs.
• Selected photo references from your device.
• Memory titles and descriptions that you type.
• Generated/exported video files saved to your device storage.

This information remains on your device unless you choose to share, export, back up, copy, or otherwise transfer it yourself.

Photos and media

Travel Brag lets you select photos from your device to include in a journey. The app uses Android's media/photo selection features and only uses the photos you choose for your travel story.

Selected photos are not uploaded to Impulse Media. Generated videos are saved on your device. If you choose to share an exported video using Android's share options, that sharing is handled by the apps or services you select.

Location names and globe mapping

Travel Brag uses the departure and destination names you enter to create globe routes and story animations. To convert place names into map coordinates, the app may use Android/device geocoding capability provided by the operating system or device services.

Impulse Media does not receive or store those location searches. Any processing by the device, operating system, or service provider is subject to that provider's own privacy practices.

Permissions

Depending on your Android version and actions inside the app, Travel Brag may request access needed to:

• Select photos or media you choose for a journey.
• Save exported videos to your device.
• Show a foreground export notification while video export is running.

The app only uses these permissions to provide the requested app functionality.

Third-party services

Travel Brag does not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or account sign-in services.

The app may rely on standard Android system components, such as media selection, storage, notifications, and geocoding. Those components are provided by Android, the device manufacturer, or Google Play services depending on the user's device.

Children's privacy

Travel Brag does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. Because the app does not require an account and does not send data to Impulse Media, we do not knowingly receive children's personal information.

Parents or guardians should supervise how children use any photo, video, or sharing features on their device.

Data sharing

Impulse Media does not sell, rent, trade, or share user data from Travel Brag because the app does not collect user data.

If you export or share a video, you control where that video is sent.

Data deletion

You can delete journeys inside the app where delete functionality is available. You can also remove exported videos from your device storage using your device's file manager or gallery app.

Uninstalling Travel Brag may remove app-local data, depending on your Android version, device settings, and backup configuration.

Security

Travel Brag is designed to avoid collecting data in the first place. Local-only storage reduces privacy risk because your journey content is not sent to Impulse Media servers.

You are responsible for securing your own device, including device lock settings, backups, and any apps or services you use to share exported videos.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or data practices change. If Travel Brag ever adds features that collect, transmit, sync, monetise, or share user data, this policy should be updated before those features are released.
